Fuego Peruano was founded in 2022 under the name “Costa, Sierra y Selva, Perú”, by Astrid Perales, Carla Reyes, and Rosita Espinoza. Driven by our longing for our homeland and our passion for dance, we decided to establish a group based in Lund, where we could preserve and share our beloved Peruvian culture. A year after, we officially became a cultural association. With the support of our active members and board of directors, we have grown into a well-recognized organization. We are gaining increasing acceptance within both the Latin and Swedish communities, promoting our traditions, and creating memorable moments filled with Peruvian pride among our members.
